Professionals who have obtained the Certified Animal Welfare Administrator (CAWA) certification have qualified for the certification by completing education, service and management requirements. In addition, they have passed an exam and must re-certify every three years. These professionals have proven that they are knowledgeable about animal welfare practices and adhere to the highest ethical standards.
